I used to fish it all the time, but now it conflicts with the Ultimate Sport Show in GR so I haven't fished it in a couple years. I will probably fish it if it gets postponed to a later date, but will probably be working the Sport Show that weekend.

If we have enough coverage at the show on Saturday then I will try to make it down.

Really wish this would go back to the first Saturday in April…

Its a tough time to schedule, I think it got moved from the first weekend of April because of the final four. Early March makes weather a little sketchy and going later brings up possible conflicts with the DNR egg take.

Pretty sure Matt and I are going. We fished two years ago with really weird weather during a quick warm up and it was during the egg take. No fish caught in the tourney.

How many guys do you think there will be from the MMA..wanna make sure we get enough food! Also were looking to put a hurtin on you guys this year lol..you guys should bring Curt..would really help us out…

How did it go? What were the water temps? Are the fish done "spawning" and starting to chase baits? I wouldn't mind getting down there before our season opens but the last couple years I've had a tough time getting the timing right. Seems like every year I fish down there in early spring we see a lot of fish but they won't even look at my lure. This year may be better with ice coming off early.
