This is probably more of a Will question. Been reading the posts on Muskies 1st about the Indian muskie meetings with there DNR. They want to raise the size limit and the DNR doesn't have the money to feed the fingerings for 90 days, just 30. Will have you given them any suggestion, that maybe the muskies clubs should chip in and buy the minnows or any other tips.

Do you mean Indiana? And I don't know anything about it, but raising the size limit doesn't seem like it has much to do with how long the DNR can feed the fingerlings. A 50" fish was 1" at some point in his or her life whether it was stocked or not. I'm sure the fingerlings have a better chance or survival if feed by the DNR for two more months, but I don't see how that directly relates to size limits.

On Muskies 1st, the post is Indiana Muskie Summit.

1. They want to get a higher size limit than 36", I agree 36" is pretty silly.

2. They want the DNR to feed fingerling for 90 days so they are bigger, not sure if they only want to feed them for 30 days and I guess they have enough to feed them for 70 days.

What I was trying to find out is how long does are DNR feed them before they release them. And dosen't MMA pay for the minnows? How much is the cost to do this.

If this is the case, has anyone suggested to the Webster lake muskie club, and Indy muskie club to split the cost of the minnows and help there DNR.
