Well I got my boat running like new….. but now my trailer is definitely out of commission for the test of the year. I lost the bearing cap on the way to Oser today and didn't realize it until I got there. The hub was riding directly on the spindle (for a while) and royally F-ed up the spindle. I drove to south haven picked up a bearing kit and a file but it was to messed up to even get a bearing on. so Im still sitting hear waiting for my dad to get hear so that i can back the boat on to his car hauler. ugh that sounds like a pain. too bad I wasn't there to help.
Hey Adam, sorry to hear about the trailer problems. I replaced my axle several years back with Spindle-Lube axles, they can custom make about anything for you, and its good stuff.
