I'll be fishing for sure.
We won the trophy during one of the toughest years ever. We've had at least one of our members place in the top three of the individual awards in five of the six events including a win. Last year the WLMC smoked everyone, MMA was second but it wasn't very close and all we could manage was a sixth and seventh in the individual.
I just talked to Chae Dolsen from Chapter 49 on the phone. He said to keep checking their website to make sure the event is still on the 29th. He's hopeful, but he says this is the first year they might have to postpone for one week.
—Anyone traveling in a convoy? When is everyone planning to leave? I'm planning on going, but I've never been to that area. If possible, I'd love to follow someone familiar with the trip…..
WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS!!! The trophy is coming back to Michigan. Only 2 fish were caught by MMA members; a 30.5" and a NICE 48.5"!!!! It was a tough day with few fish caught and not many seen as well. I dont remember the exact number, but I think there were around 8 fish caught. The 30.5" was caught out of Will's boat and the 48.5" was caught by new member Jim TenHaaf. He took the individual trophy and MMA took the team trophy.
