70% chance of rain Friday, but then only 30% on Saturday. Highs still 70-71, so at least it won't be too cold. Can't wait! Looking forward to eating more of that pizza we got last time. Don't remember the name, but man was it good. TONS of meat… (I'm doing the Homer drool right now!). A little expensive at $20/pie, but hey. It's vacation!

Pizza King. You can drive your boat to it on Webster. Not as good as the stuffed pizza at Jimmy's, also in N. Webster,

The guy in the pic is MMA member Pete Brogger. He caught it in the first minute of the outing on a Hell Puppy, it was a special day for Pete as this was his personal best!

Good job! If anybody can share a pattern that worked with me, I would greatly appreciate it. I am heading down tomorrow. Thinking Barbee or Tippy. Was one better than the other? Thanks.

We never left Kuhn. The fish we caught came on a brown hell puppy. We caught some bass along the way and they all came on shad colored lures.

The only thing I can say for sure is Kuhn wasn't as clear as I had planned on, it wasn't muddy, but stained.

Have fun.

We fished Kuhn as well, friday it poured all day. We had a sucker rig going and had a nice mid 40's stare at it for a while, then right before dark we had one munching on the sucker, but it let go.

Had several hits from topwater, to spinner baits.

Water was 69-70 on friday.

65-66 saturday.

We moved a few big fish saturday, but that was it. I had about a 45-46 incher come out of the weeds and try hitting my weagle, but it missed and never came back. It happened literally right after the sun came out.

Matt Ramsey and I kept our streak alive of ensuring that no muskies hit the net on game day….we fished Webster….never moved a fish. Did catch two incidental bass and two mystery strikes that did not stay buttoned. Had a great time….had to bolt at the after-party due to my flat tire situation….needed to get it fixed before the drive home.

We did hit Tippy today for about 3.5 hours…..and SUCCESS! Never been on Tippy before, so we figured we would try it. Thanks Will for the location tip. I moved a 40ish on a jerk….no commitment though. Matt ended up sticking his new PB….jumbo 48" on a sucker rig….4.5' of water. Obviously we were both pumped. I was very happy for Matt and was nice to get the Indiana skunk out of my boat. As always…hard to capture fish girth well with the cell phone.

Scott, talked to some guys who picked up a fish shallow in James as well.

Nice job guy's, that's a great PB. Been on Tippy once, it's strange 4 feet from shore and it will drop to 90 or 100 feet deep.
