This should have been one of the lake packages at the banquet. Oh well… MMA can owe me a couple hundred bucks.
Here's the game plan when the ice has just come off the Hoosier lakes.
– Fish Webster, 99% that the IOC will be won there (if the right guys are fishing and not guiding that day)
– Start shallow
– fish from Nines Island to Handley's Isl.
– fish all of the saddle from Dickinson's Pt. to Big Isl.
– Fish from Epworth Forest to Eagle Pt.
– Fish the 6-8' break from Eagle Pt. to Big Isl.
– Fish the 8-12' water from Eagle Pt. to Hayden's Pt.
– Fish the break from Dixie Isl. to Weimers Landing

I purposely left off the backwater and channel, it takes a lot of hands on to know how/where to fish and if you aren't familiar it isn't worth your time.
Lures you need:
1oz. Rattle Trap – Chrome Blue Back
6" Grandma Shallow – Shad and Firetiger
6" Grandma Deep – Shad
8" Jake – Superman
#14 Husky jerk – Glass Minnow
12 XRap – Glass Ghost and Olive

Will, you missed the part where I said send it tome now how am I going to get my edge? Phffff…..Seriously though, thanks for the info. Glad we have a badAzZ dude in the organization to hook us up with details.
LOL. Sorry, can't play favorites I decided everyone gets it or nobody gets it. All info provided for MMA to bring back the trophy. Your edge will come from reading the conditions and making something happen. I just hope that the fish aren't on fire and the conditions are really tough, something tells me though that Webby is going to put out some numbers and a biggun.
Catch one like this:

I dont see anything on the flyer for the rules other than 30" and over. Is this the biggest fish wins or is it by points?
There are two tournaments going on really. One is the individual tournament and that is by points 30"=4 pts and 1 point per inch after. In most years the biggest fish wins the individual but there have been years where it took three or more to win.
The other tournament is the chapter challunge which is also by points but the total points for the chapter is divided by the number of members from that chapter registered (we got burned on this one year because we had people pre-register but not show up to fish). There needs to be at least 6 members from a chapter to make a team. In all honesty the best way to win the trophy is to send the best six anglers, the reason WLMC doesn't win very often is because they have so many participants.
