I was texting Chae as he was driving around looking at all the lakes. He wanted some feedback from people what they should do. He states:
"Kuhn and ramp is solid, big Barbee is kinda open but rest are covered. Backwater (Webster) is solid, channel to lake is half off."
Their board is going to decide tonight if they are going to postpone 1 week. But, if a lot of people can't put it off just one week, they may just do 2 to keep the participation up.
I told him a handfull of us would be out for next weekend, since we have the GR Sports Show.
Here's an update from the Webster forum in case you guys aren't following it.
"Webster might be a few inches low but nothing major
(Water Level). Barbee looked OK but I didn't actually get out at the ramp I know the creek between Webster and Tippy was out of its banks a few days ago so I would think Tippy is OK also but not sure(Water Level). the Tippy Ramp is still thawing out (Pie eyed Petey's) but should be open by Friday if not Grassy is open you may not be able to get through the narrows heading to patona side not sure if it will be thawed(Ice) Webster should be totally open by Sat backwater and all. Barbee Ramp may or may not be open still waiting to see what happens.
