Good thing my friend had all this crap to bring out, there are now a few less buoys sunken in murray.

Boy, he better be careful! Can you imagine getting a hook stuck in you that was connected to a rope that was connected to the bottom… Seriously… I have heard of many a lures bing pulls from ropes on Murray. Just be careful.
Yep! The couple times my bro has done it w/ scuba gear I made him take my knipex down with him just in cast he got pinned to a rope w/ a hook.
Ha!
BTW: I found an old 10"(?) perch Jake in the weeds at Ovid a few weeks ago. Looks like it had been there a LONG time with VERY rusty hooks and split rings. Still attached was an insufficient 18" trolling leader with swivels at both ends and an extra split ring and swivel at the end attached to some pretty flimsy mono. I wonder if it was Will or Lemay…?
The lure is still good because the hook attachment eyes are SS.
I'll catch a fish with it, someday. Jeez, I wish there were muskies in Ovid…
