I was told about these hooks by a guide in WI. Mustad-Kevin VanDam Triple Gripe. Does anybody know about these? He said they will hold up to anything! Any new Crane 205's & 305's, I change the hooks to ones that are a little bigger (Eagle Claw 2X Treble) and they still don't hold up. The ones they come with are terrible. He said the triple-grip aren't cheap, a buck a piece!! Ouch!

What do folks think of this idea…..
In order to greatly reduce the per hook cost of buying replacement hooks, what if a number of members agree to share the one-time cost of buying a large number of quality hooks in various sizes?
For example, say 10 guys share the cost of ordering 5 different sizes of hooks, 100 hooks of each size. That's 500 total hooks. When the package arrives, one guy volunteers to divide up the hooks and he sends the other 9 guys 10 hooks in each of the 5 sizes.
Hmmm…..waddya think? Any comments or suggestions?
