I emailed Matt Hughes today and am planning on going on the 6th. He said the day they plan on doing the earthen pond is the 22nd and need extra help that day. If anyone can help it's worth taking a day off of work, I had a great time last year (ware else do you get to say that you netted a few thousand muskies in a afternoon?) Plus its good muskie mojo [smilie=brows.gif]
Also I'm curious about "the list" do we know what lakes/rivers will be getting fish and how many?
I would love to help out on a day that works well with my work schedule. I kinda do my own schedule but I still answer for everything that goes wrong when I'm gone so… Makes it tough but I am positive I can make it there and hopefully this weekend at the tourney I can have someone give me a better understanding of what is happening. I'd love to bring the kids if it was possible.
This was in the recent newsletter:
If you are interested in being a volunteer during pond harvest please contact Matt Hughes at Wolf Lake. Matt will contact you once he makes the harvest schedule and you will be able to advise him on your availability.
Please contact Matt via email: ** you do not have permission to see this link **
Matt has recently indicated they will need help 10/22,10/28,11/4,11/6 and !!"!#, but again contact Matt if you wish to help.
Great to see all the bonus fish in these earthen ponds. The water was only drained down half way or so, so we weren't able to get all of the fish in the first earthen pond yet and we still got over 2000. Theres still quite a few fish in that pond and a whole nother earthen pond that has yet to be drained. All of these fish on top of the normal lined ponds is great to see.
Size was quite a bit smaller than last year but there were still some big healthy ones in the bunch. Size was a lot more variable between fish this year than it was when I was there last year. Hopefully the smaller sized fish still have a good survival rate after stocking.

How many ponds of them are there? 2 or 3? Any guess on how many there are? And where are they going? Thanks
From the last issue of Figure Eight:
all fingerlings have been transferred to ponds with just over 60 thousand going into the four lined ponds and an additional 140 thousand surplus fish going into two earthen ponds.
They're going in the water of course.
