Anyone ever have the harness in a Dawg completely separate from the body? The last fish I got on a new Pounder did this. The bait is impossible to tune now. You can bend the harness any way you want, but the body just kind of turns and swivels on it now. So now when it's swimming through the water, it rolls upside down. 👿 I've had 20 different Dawgs completely bent in half, but it's a piece of cake to just bend them back. Tried emailing Innovations on it, but no response yet. Anyone have Brads email maybe?

Sounds typical of the older pounder without the newest harness. You can get it to run right but it takes some messing with. Super glue in the body might really help.

If nothing else works you might want to risk cutting the majority of the bottom open so you can access the wire. Then simply use a little propane torch and try to melt it back together so it can melt around the harness.

Just do what I do and don't catch any fish with them. They last longer, then. Embarassed

Those were the only options I could think of as well. I was first going to take a tube of Super Glue with a long pointed end and stick it in the eye, and the hook harnessess and just start gooping. I cringe at your suggestion, J… 😯 Major surgery…!

I've done it before and it's not too bad. I've completely taken out the wire (which was broken), fixed the wire, put it back in and completely melted the plastic back together.

If you resort to the superglue route, make sure you have the wife standing by with a bottle of nail polish remover to help you after you glue your fingers together…

jason's way would be the most sure fire way to fix it.. and no it wouldn't be that hard, just make sure when u are cutting out the bottom of it you make a clean cut and not make a mess out of it.

Kind of a mix of both was what I was getting at. Cut it open and glue the harness to the body then weld it back together. It only takes a minute and is pretty simple.
