ya ive seen this before, that is an older video i think he got a newer and bigger box. Saw a lot of the rest of his tackle when he was on a tv show. It's absurd the amount of stuff he has

Looks nice but he's gotta have more dawgs than that, that doesn't even look like 50.

Hmm… I can't imagine being on the water with less than 75 maybe 100 depending on the season. I'm thinking about getting a little 8' boat to drag behind just to hold bulldawgs.

You can only throw 1 at a time! Just when I start thinking that my collection may be getting close to yours, you throw a number like 75 & 100 in there. [smilie=shakehead.gif]

Note to self(and pocketbook) don't try to keep up with Will when it comes to lures.

I was a little surprised as the box seems to be 75% full of cowgirls. Those have to be just his go-to baits as he doesn't have any other baits besides cowgirls/dawgs.

I was definitely surprised that there didn't seem to be anything other than bucks and Dawgs in that box. I'm currently working on something similar made out of Sintra for the back of my boat but there won't be that many Dawgs for sure.

I find this tackle box lacking in selection [smilie=biggrin.gif] . Talk about all your eggs in two baskets. Michelle and I have caught well over a thousand Muskies and I can count on one hand how many we caught on Bull dawgs and Cow girls. 😯 I have never caught a fish on a Cow Girl. I caught 4 on Dawgs and Michelle has never caught a fish on either.

I started this year to get a new selection of bull dawgs with Wills help. I am hoping to see some bigger fish from this new box of rubber. But a lot will have to happen before either of these two baits gains my confidence.

I find Spanky baits to be built better and have proven to us that on Lake St. Clair they catch huge fish. So far on our smaller lakes here I have not seen the big blade, big rubber bite that happens in Minnesota and on Lake st. Clair. Michelle and I were moving big fish in December on small baits. This has always been the case for us.

Last year my wife beat me in total points and numbers because I was trying to fish big blades and big rubber. She stuck to smaller body baits and double 8 bucktails (Shumway Flashers) .

Ill try one more year with these new colors and tactics learned from Will. To me? The Jury is still out on big rubber and big blades on Michigans inland lakes.

You are going to catch fish on them, but if you don't I call first dips on your baits [smilie=biggrin.gif]

i saw you guys bidding on a decent amount of plastic at the banquet mike. Hope your confidence picks up on them.

Some days those are the only baits i can count on moving or catching any fish

Well , Im working on that. I see the results others have with them. I do see more fish on big water caught on those baits. St. Clair for instance the Berman'S BUDDY fish for instance is what got me looking at pounders again. But frankly , until I start catching bigger fish ( or even any fish)using them Im not convinced they will improve my rate of catch on Michigan INLAND LAKES. Ill not be buying 20 of them until I see a big fish on one of the 10 new ones I have now. Up to now I have caught 4 all on smaller ones and all on two deeper clear lakes.

As for Cow girls? I started to catch some fish casting double tens of my own last season. But this was an all black bait used in dark conditions so Im not so sure the blade size had anything to do with it. Last season on St. Clair I was treated to a wonderful day of Spanky power. 13 fish in the boat and 8 of those came on Spanky baits trolled including Michelles 55 and 51 for me. I watched a Cow Girl self destruct in two hours using the same set up and one mine did the same thing. Spanky builds theirs a little better if you ask me. Mike

Improve your rate of catch? No, they aren't going to do that.

I woulnd't say better just different. Better for trolling. Yes because they addressed the problems associated with dragging one for ten hours straight.
