The MCWA spent last week harvesting walleye 231,000+ that went into Lake Mitchell, Lake Cadillac, and Big Star Lake. Last night we drained the pond after the DNR left and got a surprise of 25,000+ left overs that we put into Hamlin Lake. During the harvest we naturally talk about the muskies in Hamlin. Ken Muston met Will at GR show seminar. Ken is a experience fisherman, but is having leader bite-offs and needs basic muskie help. Ken's summer residence and boat are at Laman's Landing. There are also a couple of other guys that live on the lake that want to help MMA and be the stewards of the lake. But, MMA needs to give these guys a start. Are there any spots on MMA boats willing to take a lake resident out? In return, these guys know the lake and can share their knowledge.
