Seriously, I'll volunteer to help raise money, if anyone's interested. Don't expect too much though, because I've only been at this for one year so far! [smilie=attention.gif]

Please post a short bio.

I was born a poor black chile… Oh wait, that was another jerk…

I'm a chemist (in case you hadn't figured that out yet), grew up fishing in the Hudson river near Albany, NY almost every day when I was a kid. For a long time, my fishing took a hiatus for education/family reasons until I took it up again a few years ago. Got a bad case of Muskie Fever in the fall of '07 right after I got my first boat. I did pretty well my first year, catching 17 'skis over 30", including two measuring 45.5". I cast mostly, though I plan to start assembling equipment for some trolling this year. I know Lake Ovid best, but have been in Thornapple quite a few times, where one of my 45.5"ers came from.

You can learn some basics from me, and maybe have some good laughs. You can see my very humble boat and fish by looking <url url="[Permission to view this media is denied]

Ooo… good idea. When we post these on the auction the bios should include the type and size boat you fish from (ex. 17' Bass boat) and a photo would be nice too.

I fish out of a 18' fiberglass boat with a 115 hp Mercury and an electric trolling motor up front , with one sonar. Casting platforms and seats in the front and rear so it's quite comfortable.

Copy-Cat! I already did that!

I was born and raised in Milwaukee (ya I'm a CHEESEHEAD, GO PACK GO, there's only one Saint Vince). Ihave fished all my life in WI. & MN. I will fish for anything. Muskie's I started about 15 years ago and got more crazy about them about 7 years ago. Biggest 47", also a 51.5" but I don't talk about her, shestill haunts me (to longof a story). Not good at trolling, prefer to cast. Can't do diddley as in Bo with a bucktail. Love my topwaters, nothing is more fun to see that bait get ripped off the surface. Have a 1992 16ft Lowe deep-v, 40 horse Johnson, trolling motor, depth finder, she works for me. I had 3 people in it casting, nobody gotten snaged. My biggest thing is I'll be all over you on figure 8's, can't stress that enough. Only rule in my boat No Trash in the Water, even butts and I do pick-up other people's trash. Steve

So what are the next steps for this program? Is the auction going to be just like the online auction that we have for lures?

One full day in September or October. For one or two People. Cast and troll on Elk and Skegamog lakes. Michelle and I have boated several muskies up there over 47 inches. Jeff Stewart won a trip with us and it got him this Elk Lake fish. We will provide all the trolling tackle and lunch and you will fish from our 18 foot Starcraft Superfisherman. You will learn trolling tactics using Planer Boards ,down rods , out rods and propwash. GPS, AND Structure trolling methods. Second photo is Michelles 51.5 from Elk. You will be responsible for your own raingear if needed and casting rods and casting lures. Mike and Michelle.

We will auction these off on the on-line auction, just like the lures.
