Will, I saw a article sometime back about percentage rates on lures. They had crank baits at the top (and they were only 25%), top-waters were low, can't remember what the percentage was. Where do Bulldawgs fall in here. Thanks, Steve
I don't know off hand but I'll break it down for you as soon as I get a chance.
Yeah I've seen ole' grand master out in the boat with one of these before…

Here you go Steve. The bulldawg numbers for me come from the jerkbait segment of lures (Jerkbaits = 33%). Crankbaits (46%) are very high but when you consider how often a lure falls into the "crankbait" category it isn't a surprise really. For instance 90% of the time I'm fishing a Grandma, Jake, DDD, Depthraider, etc. I'm fishing it like a jerkbait or slashbait so "crankbait" might not be the right category but they are lipped baits that should be classified as a crankbait. If I moved all the fish caught while jerking, twitching or slashing a crankbait into the "jerkbait" category the crankbait category would be more like 10-12%.
