Was at long lake last night fishing for Walleye's and figured I'd shoot into Mickey lake real quick to see if I could spot some spawning Muskies. I was in there for over an hour and covered all the shore lines. When I got back to the launch I had the Po Po's waiting for me. 
One of the home owners called the cops and claimed that I was shining into peoples windows and causing a disturbance. [smilie=bs.gif] Long story short I spent the night in jail last night…
Ok, I made that last part up.
"Bad boys bad booooyyssss!"
I got in trouble with a neighbor when spearing dogfish with my 11 y/o daughter around 1 in the morning. The Q-Beam went off the water and lit up his house. He came out and threw rocks at us yelling "Get out you SOB's!" We went home.
Next day, without my daughter, I walked down to chat with that MF. Now we're friends, he keeps excellent beer in his garage.

I saw the biggest muskie I've ever seen alive ever by shining in the middle of the nite. A total tanker; no one who lives on that lake would ever believe a fish that big also lives there.
