looking at gettin some better rod holders for trolling
i hear salty are pretty good, any others? what about RAM?
don't want anything that would snap off

Saltys work great- Just make sure you get the double clamp not the single- or are you looking for track style?

Can't help you with "good" rod holders but if you want the best, go with Downeast Salties.

I went to down east rod holders this year after have a large fish snap a plastic rod holder. I love the down east equipment.
