I was talking to someone this summer about this video, specifically about the part that starts at 34:20 probably the funniest segment in any muskie video. There's also a few minutes at Skegemog starting at 39:00. The whole thing is so cool and makes me think how simple life and fishing was back then. For those of you who weren't born until after this was made, this is what it was like 30 years ago.

Quite a few mistakes in there that I've heard. I've only watched segments here and there. Like, they say that a Tiger is a cross when a late spawning female Muskie breeds with an early spawning Pike. Also, they said that the Muskies eggs are sticky. Did they really not know when they spawn? Or was that just an honest narrator mistake?

I noticed both of those too, but then right after they talked about the late female and early male stuff, they talked about how the pike fry like to eat the eggs and fry of muskies who spawn later… so they obviously missed something in editing.
