How many of you would be opposed to getting the newsletter online instead of it being mailed?

If it was online would you want to have a version that is easily printed? Would a version that is just viewable on the forum be OK?

We have 75 members that have asked for access to the members forum. If we didn't mail those 75 members their newsletter, we would save roughly $1000 over the next 12 months.

I believe we're going to make the members ask to get a newsletter and in the future all newsletters will be online.

A viewable version on the forum would be sufficient for me.

That translates into enough feed for about 5,000 muskies in Iowa.

PDF format would be nice, just in case you do want to print it off.

I would say of course everyone reading it here on the forum is going to say ok; its the silent members without the computers that would be short changed….I would say lets keep both mediums. Not all of us have computers or the time to go online all the time.

I guess my point is ; Isnt that inquiry kind of like doing a telephone survey, and asking the Amish if they think they need better phone service??? Laugh Laugh Laugh Laugh 😯

On-line is fine as long as I can print it out. It needs to be on a medium that can be easily transported into the bathroom. Nothing gets read in this house outside of the crapper. Though I do have a wireless router in the house, I will not be dragging the laptop to the can…..

Yep, I left out the thought that this inquiry would obviously be skewed.

Okay so send out the newsletter next time, include everyone and put a blurb in there that requires a reply if that individual would like a paper copy. That way everyone gets the question posed, those who want it online need to simply not reply to the mailing. That should cut it by say half?? Would that be of benefit??
