I am getting the news letter in hard copy again. As long as it is posted on the forum, save the $$ and take me off the mailing list.

I've been using my hard copy Figure 8 to pass on as a PR tool for future members. At the same time I like the email version to copy/paste specific material as needed for PR.

We are indeed sending hard copy of newsletter to all members..
as we found that members would often read newsletter on-line and then forget about outings , or not renew memberships in timely manner etc ("Oh was there an outing that weekend..I must have missed it "..or "I thought it was next month" etc ). We often also have inserts in newsletter (like membership renewal forms..but we could put those at end of on line newsletter also of course.)..and if we try to generate some ads for newsletter the number of mailings we do may determine ad revenue perhaps..(since we cant monitor on line readership per se)

…but I'll discuss policy again with board members…

Ironically if we can get a some more memebers ..so we mail 200 newsletters..we
can use bulk postage rates which will actually lower the mailing costs/member (vs. first class postage which we must use now..and has just gone up)
