Alright I'll be there to get some video and some pictures. I'll post the pictures later that night but will edit the video some before posting so that probably won't be up until after the weekend

"Member" I said,…not DIRECTOR,…board MEMBER. And what happened
to the E in the PRE topic? O well, pretty neat article. Might bring some
more fishing pressure to Thorn, but think how many people are now
that much more aware of this fish/process/MMA. I wish they would have
touched more on the suckers/carp/rough fish that muskies prefer to eat.
The reporter overheard me talking to some people about the MMA and
asked If I could speak on the MMA'a behalf. I said "I guess so,..I am
a board member". Whenever ya do that you run risk of saying something
wrong or it gets missed or misrepresented. I thought the message/words
were well recieved and I did the best I could givin the "on the spot"
timing. I hope everybody is cool with that. peace -kid

You did pretty well on MMA's behalf, Kid. Without you and Kregg, the article may have only talked about how they "attack and consume nearly any living animal" (including Poopsie the poodle), and how lake associations sometimes don't want them in their lakes. Kudos.

Hey Kid, you made the news!!! [smilie=2thumbsup.gif]

Muskies attack and consume nearly any living animal, including small rodents, waterfowl and muskrats, state fishery experts say.

Boy, they sure make muskie sound vicious! There's got to be a softer way to say that.

I had LL practice for my team Saturday and Brendan was telling kids on his team about the Muskies..I had several parents come up and comment about the MLive comment when they heard the boys talking about the article. Funny how word gets around…

I guess if it's a good educational word, it can do some good. Hopefully the word is NOT "Muskies eat everything in sight including poodles, ducks, and kids' feet!" LOL!
