I like the idea of a trip to the UP. There's some great lightly fished water in our home state but it still feels like "wilderness".
Kawartha's would be a second vote. With my young angler slowly becoming my regular partner we need breaks from muskie fishing so a place that has pike, bass, walleye and perch will get our attention faster than a place that might have a shot at a giant.
This is just my opinion and doesn't count for more than that.
