Let's hear it, please share some pictures stories or something. I've been out in a tree one time to videotape this fall and that's it. Almost got a litte 6 point last week with the truck and boat though…

I hunted up in the Lakeview area on Tuesday and Wednesday. Lots of standing corn, wind, and rain kept the deer movement to a minimum. I did not see any bucks this year. Fact is, I only saw 4 smaller does. My venison stockpile is running low and I just can't go without tenderloin and eggs for breakfast… I ended up with a close shot right before dark opening day at the best of the 4 molly's I saw. My brother in law was hunting the same property 400 yards from me and got a 9 point and a big molly before 7:30 opening morning. Not nearly as much shooting as normal. I will hunt Thanksgiving morning, but that is all for me this year.

I got a 2-point Sunday, hit it from 60 yards away with my slug gun. It has both points on the right side. It weighed around 120 pounds. Saw some does that got within 15 feet from me but passed them up.

Well gentlemen hunted 3mi from sanford lake and 1 1/2 from wixom lake I could smell the musky's in the air saw the most bucks I have ever seen in one day of gun deer season 5 legal bucks 7:45 am a 8 point 8:40am spike 9:15 6 point though I was on T.V. with all the bucks I was seeing and at 12:25 pm 10 point and a 8 point walking a fast pace next to one another 100 yards away from me but in a 50 yard opening walking very fast.I shot 4 times from 7:45 am to 9:15 am I'm embarrass to say Oh what the heck I've embarrass my self many time on here all ready Never used a borrowed gun the day be for the openner especially if you never shot it before shot 2 time's at the 8 point missed 1 time at the spike killed it shot at the 6 point got alittle bit white hair.It was very combat ineffective of me, Made me feel unworthy of wearing the black and gold tab I know it can't be age I'm only 21 yrs old or bad eye sight must of been bad luck oh well I guess I won't be storming any beaches or air dropping in on any airports on a exotic island in the west indies or going in by helicopter to fast rope in to the street to fight a bunch of skinny's so I guess I was lucky it was just deer this time.

Nothing photo worthy, tender little 4 point opening morning. How about a bull instead? 2005 Arizona archery

I got a 5 point opening of bow at 8:15am(my first buck Laugh ) The old Wheeler did it's job! A double lung shot …the buck only went 20yds.

I was walking to my stand and spooked a buck out it looked to be a nice one. After I got settled in my stand I did some grunting and the big buck came back. It was the biggest buck I have ever seen in the woods! It was cool to call him in I never had that work before. I hope to see him again.

As for CAMP NO DEER my buddy Bob got one. We have had our camp for 6 years and nobody has ever shot a deer.

Missed a small buck opening day due to first time shooting with glasses. Should have practiced. No more open sights for me time to retire the old 30/40 Krag . Looking for a used 30/06 with scope. Father in law came through with a nice doe for us though hanging in the garage. I may try a little with the bow this december. Kingfisher
