Wind's blowing like crazy, though. Just got my boat out of storage, and it's too windy to bother taking it out for a shakedown cruise…

We had snow here around 6:00 Saturday night. Started out as a light misty rain turning to almost sleet, then BIG flakes started coming down. No accumulation, but enough to make you shake your head.

I hope not. Last summer's temps worked well for me. I've also go a late summer trip up north happening, and I'd like some residual warmth left over when I'm there.

I LIKED the summer of '09. You could fish the inland lakes all summer long!

i would prefer a summer of 09 as well, at least we didn't have to take a break from fishing that year..

last year sucked for about 2 months straight.. couldn't really fish much on inland lakes period

Long term predictions (which are correct about 2.5% of the time) are showing a nice 4 day warm up preceding opener though!
