The price of the 8'6" Heavy is $47. Anyone looking for a lighter setup should jump on that. I almost ordered two. Also the XH is $98 which isn't a bad deal either. All free shipping as well.

If you are considering these rods here's a little info…
The Okuma ratings are on the heavy side (opposite of St Croix and their underrated rods) The 8'6" XH is not a pounder rod but the 9'3" XH is a good pounder rod and a great double ten rod. The H is a good spring/small bucktail/jig rod rod. The 8'6" XXH is rod designed for pounders.
If anyone is thinking new rod over the winter I'll have all five of the 2012 Okuma telescoping rods on Wednesday. I'll be testing these until ice up and I would be happy to let you borrow one for a day or two.
I would also be happy to let you try/test a one piece Tackle Industries 9'XH or 9'XXH split grip. If you like the T.I. rod I have a deal worked out with James and you can buy it through me and I will have it shipped directly to you for a significant savings. (edit: Could save you $20+)
Just touch base w/ me after October 10th and let me know if you want to test drive a rod. I'm not going to ship these all over the place but if we can meet locally or on the water sometime I'm more than happy to get these in your hands.
