I had some good results on the double cowgirls last year and is anyone looking at buying some of these? I was going to get a Supermodel and a junior double cowgirls to try out. Does anyone have one yet? If you were going to buy one color for LSC or Lake Hudson what would you buy?

I'll be bidding on some at the banquet on March 1st.

Some possible colors for LSC and Hudson:
St Clair – Black/Red, Rainbow/Nickle, Gold/Gold, Pink/Pink
Hudson – Red/Flame, Orange/Orange

I'd would believe Will about the Black/Red, Rainbow/Nickle(X-mas Tree) and Gold/Gold, but I truly feel he buys the pink/pink ones for an accessory to his wardrobe more than for catching fish.

If I were to buy one color from my minuscule LSC experience I'd go with Gold/Gold or Rainbow/Nickel but then again I don't claim any LSC expertise.

I may also be bidding on some at the banquet also.

They are #13 blades and they should be a serious workout to throw. I appreciate the ideas and they should be fun.

my brother bought a supermodel at the chicago musky show and I was suprised to see that it wasnt that much more than the DCG in price. Both the blades and the bait are huge, but ive heard its not much harder to fish than the DGC. Im sure with the right reel and rod they should be fine to throw.

I think the industry is going to get wrapped up in a mine is bigger than yours thing. It's important to look at what works year to year and a bait that proves itself consistently. The 48" musky I caught was on a $3 Johnson spoon with a .25 trailer on it. They are fun to look at and in the you tube video I think I saw a follow or maybe it was a pool vent….

You may want to reconsider the spinning rod…
