If you have the time and energy go to the St. Mary's and learn some things to teach me. I have a buddy that fishes out there and catches fish every fall but wont go in the summer. I would think that fishing the reefs, and reeds would be good out there. I wish I had the time and the boat to try it out. Give Raber a shout, and if you have a Canadian Liscense already I was just told about another spot up there but I forgot the name of the island, but I will get it to you today.
Good Luck,
Cooler air temps coming this week. These nights in the 50's will get the inland lakes back into fishable water temps. After limited fishing time over the last couple weeks I'm dying to get out, even Tyler was asking to go fishing tonight.
The St Clair River always stays cool. We were in areas of the St Clair river last weekend and found perfect 72-74 degree water. LSC proper was still hot in the upper 70's to low 80's. Some storms and winds will hopefully push the currents around and get all of LSC cooled off. Lots of dead muskies out there over the last couple weeks. It's a little depressing to see them still holding tournaments when the water is hot.
