Alright, who's going to the Bruce this year?? I will be there baring any unforeseen happenings at work. It would be nice to have as many anglers there as possible to get some numbers on GLS fish and how the NMUS population is doing after the Spring transfer.

I've never fished a tournament or outing with you guys. I would like to come down and maybe bring my dad. Can you give me some more info?

Hey Joel check out the link here and scroll through and you'll see the flyer for the tournament. It's a really good time and well attended usually so you'll be able to meet a fair number of other members.

It's not super competitive either so don't be intimidated by it being a 'tournament'. It's a lot of fun with good food and is a nice opportunity to meet other muskie nuts.

One thing to add to this – please park as far back in the 'parking area' as possible after launching. This will allow the next group to have plenty of space at the launch for their event. Thanks!

Are you talking about people coming later, or is another group having an event there that day?

I should be there.

Checking with a couple potential partners but I plan to be there with someone or without. I will be fishing for crappies but will make the donation to the cause.

There is a paddling event that starts around 8. They'll be headed downriver after a quick trip into the lake.

I enjoyed myself very much yesterday, surrounded by people with the same addiction. Granted the fishing could have been better, not much you can do about the weather. Can't say enough good things about Nick, Will, Trevor and the rest who always put on a great event. The food was outstanding. My only complaint was I woke up at 4:30 this morning with both my calves totally cramped up, it was a bitch trying to get up and making it stop. I guess that was from standing stradled trying to cast and fighting the wind, dam it's a bitch getting old!! 🙄

Can't take credit for this one. Thanks to Will Ty Ellen and Trevor and whom ever else had a hand in organizing and putting it on. Also thanks to everyone who made it, I really enjoyed myself and look forward to the next MMA event.

I had to go camping in grayling with the family. One of these days I'll make it out to meet you guys. I circled the 6 mile lake event on my calender as I camp seasonal in grayling.

Tough conditions I know, but were any fish willing to come out and play? Sorry I couldn't make it

A 28.5" was caught and scanned. An upper 30's was lost in my boat (JVK [smilie=cry.gif] ) and I heard of a handful of others lost or missed on the day. I heard a couple times "they didn't get all of the Northern Strain".
