I agree that weather this warm this late in the year is bad, especially on Thorn, so hopefully the break in conditions for Saturday will help. It's got to be better than if we hit the peak of the unseasonal warm weather like today or tomorrow. Usually when faced with this I've been out on the warmest days and it was terrible. I think one time I did hit it after the weather changed like it will for Saturday, and had a decent day. We'll see…
THANKS FOR THE REPLIES GUYS !!!
Now, what I need to know is anyone else comming, and is anyone bailing
due to weather or what not. Will and I need to get a somewhat acurate
number so we know how many subs to get. Remember,Subway is
donating ONE platter but the MMA is supplying the rest so we need
a good count. Thanks again everybody, see you there. -kid
Dinner will be around 3:30pm, and yes the wife is bringing some chili.
Not as much as last year(due to alot of leftovers) but enough for everybody(I hope,LOL). If you guys that are leaving early can somehow
make it to the end, its worth it. Lots of fellowship, food, and some cool
raffle items.
I just want to reiderate(did I spell that right??) the talent that is on tap
for Saturday. Its worth the price of admission just to watch, ask, and
learn, let alone have a shot at a trophy class fish.
You all know about Big Will, Todd Frank and Mike King, but did you
know Jason VanDekopple had the biggest fish at last years Bruce
Memorial?Did you know Jim TinHaaf caught the biggest fish at this
years ice-out challunge? Did you know Chris Barton lives on that
frigging lake? Do you know who Ken Murray is?… you should.
Do you know who Joe Bednar is?,…you should. there are a couple
other big sticks in there also. I wont say no names,…..Dale/Steve/Chuck.
This charity outing really is bringing the best of the best. Very cool!!
