Headed up to St. Ignace for the next week. I'm planning on getting back on Taqhomenon for sure but I'll probably hit Brevort too since its a lot closer. I have never fished it and was wondering what the density is like in there? I'm also curious on other species walleye, bass, panfish. I want to get the kids on some fish & think Brevort would be nice to take them for some action. What other lakes in the area would be good for putting the kids on some fish?

My dad fishes Brevort with his cousins quite a bit for walleyes and do pretty well. I've also heard him talk about the perch fishing being good as well. As far as musky I'm not sure, there is definitely a healthy population of northern pike.

Ive been there once. Strictly muskie and did confirm they're there. Lots of pike and bass on the shelfs all over the lake and good size too. I really liked the west side of the lake, particularly the narrows and the northeast corner of the small bay where silver creek dumps in. good coontail and cabbage in those areas. Also some great looking main lake structure spots that look good as well. Wish I could give you more info but I haven't spent nearly enough time there. Potential Giants!!
