Bondy color?

I have a white and a green Bondy and the white is melty. Is this because it was an early run or are they all melty at some point? If not, which colors are least melty and most productive?

Or should I wait and see what Musky Innovations products are coming down the line this year? Or try the jigging Hellhound?

I have other questions, too, but they're bigger and more existential in nature.

The jigging hellhound looks cool. It is much lighter than a Bondy however, so if you're fishing somewhere with a lot of current it may not work as well. Just a guess though as I haven't tried that one yet.

I have some of the new jigging HH's and they are less than 4 ounces and if you fish in current then I am not sure how effective they will be. I love HH's but I do not think these will work in the Detroit River. I like Black and Orange and Vomit shad. It's very hard to beat a Bondy bait if you are going to jig and I would buy the magnum size.

Usually rubber baits get melty because of a reaction with what they are being stored in. I'm not sure why only the white is having a reaction maybe the green is painted and the white is the actual color of the rubber. [smilie=2c.gif] oh and good color choice go green go white!

I've never had a Bondy that was melty. It probably reacted to something it touched. I use different colors for different water color. Usually can't go wrong with Black/Orange flake or Pearl.

OK. It was a little melty when a friend gave it to me. I separated it out and it hasn't stopped, so I guess I'll pitch it and get another. I just wondered if it was a color-specific problem or, as has been said, some type of reaction.

Mine aren't melting, but they are reacting to the lead inside and OOOSing lead gooo… makes them messy…
