What about dividers? I wasn't even thinking dividers when I guessed $200 just a box and stainless hardware. It might be more like $400 if the dividers were lexan too.

Humph! Didn't think about pricing those in too… I'll have to check on my connections.

Lexan isn't really priced all that bad. There is a TON of it on Ebay. Here's a sheet 24" x 16" x 1/2" thick. Plenty strong to stand on. Going for only $36.

So if it takes 6 of those to build the dividers and top you'll only be in it for $200…

Do you really need a "case"; wouldn't some grid of supports across the top to hang them from be even easier? The supports could have some slots in it for hooks to hang in, to keep them from sliding around.

You could fab a free-standing frame that fits into that space and keep the existing cover, and not have to mod your boat at all. The frame could be metal rods/flat bars or Lexan. You any good at welding?

I agree w/ Tom there's no need for the lexan. I can't see into the lakewood I have all my bucktails in I still know exactly what lures are in each area. These 4×4 pvc post covers would make it cheap to fill that space and you wouldn't have to change anything.

I just thought the Lexan side and cover would be cool. I'll probably resort to finding some other sort of divider/tube. I've been welding for over 10 years too, so making something cool looking out of aluminum would also be a piece of cake.
