I'm looking for the best muskie lake near fremont. I'll be there for about a week starting Thursday and I'm bringing my boat up so I wanted to see if there was a good muskie lake near there, if not the I'll have to resort to bass fishing… [smilie=bangtard.gif]

Any big lakes will be toast. Fremont walleyes at night can be fun, hardy will have some very interesting scenery from thursday thru the weekend. I suggest finding a cold creek and catching trout, everything else will be toast till Tuesday.

Alright thanks guys, I usually fish murray from where I live so I'm not gonna make a special trip this weekend. Will probably try something new maybe on fremont lake or a creek somewhere for trout.

I have heard rumors of a small population in little Stony Lake. A buddy of mine from the Whitehall area told me he has seen them spawning in the shallows in the spring. I think that is the case for all of the rivermouth lakes over there though. If you don't mind the whole needle in a haystack idea, give one of those lakes a shot.
