I am planning on thinning out my arsenal of baits due to moving out of musky territory in the near future. I'm planning on just keeping my best go to baits and selling the rest. I was just curious about other peoples experience's with selling either on eBay or musky first.Thanks.

Muskie first has always worked good for me. No fees like eBay. Having a paypal account helps to make it easy.

My experiences, especially lately, have been horrible! I had some nice stuff for sale/auction to. I usually put 2 big name lures with one not so big name lure and sold them in lots. Very reasonable pricing I thought. Be prepared to lose around 60+ cents on the dollar, and no matter how many times you put "want to sell as a lot" there will be guys emailing you to sell just one lure. Wish I didn't need some quick cash a few weeks ago because I took a beating and sold some really nice lures. [smilie=bangtard.gif]
Muskies first and EBAY were the sites I used to sell my stuff.

Muskiefirst is definitely a good place to sell baits especially if you have paypal. You could probably post the baits on here and get rid of quite a few too.

I've traded/sold quite a few baits and even reels the last year or two on Muskies First and have had nothing but good experiences doing so. It's a good way to buy/sell just a bait or two also without getting killed with fees or shipping charges. I would try there first.

Let me clarify my last post. The actual transactions have been really smooth, its the amount, or lack of, people are willing to pay that has me a bit miffed. And of course the EBAY fees suck but that's part of the game.

I guess I didn't realize we could do sale postings, I'm not looking to get rich, and like the idea of local sales.

This is a good place to start, as noted. I think we all have a problem with buying muskie lures and I'll bet you would sell them fast.
