Im more or less clueless on Belleville..Its large and fish seem to move around a lot..Ive only fished it for musky maybe 6 times in last three years (once this year)..tho its only 20 min away! (They had locked ramp gates weekdays in fall so couldnt fish prime times I wanted)
Only action has coming near opening day in May..seen several (35-40 in class) and hooked/lost one ..later trips have been washouts (tho water gets murky). Just casting..maybe its a trolling lake..
Unfortuantely its a catch and keep lake for most part..Most musky probably caught accidental by bass guys..(and its been said that many went over the dam at high water and down Huron river)
Not sure it will be stocked again..hence im not fishing it much
