Had a blast as always. I went thinking I was gonna try for the Tackle Industries rod or the Gill suits but I ended up with 2 mag Dawgs, 2 double tail Dawgs and a 14" Jake that I didn't plan on. That what I get for trying to make Ron spend more money.

It was great seeing everyone and I had a wonderful time. Between the banquet and show in Monroe recently I got out of my winter doldrums.

Great job Trevor and to all that planned and worked at the banquet!

Was a good time. But I wanted that Thornapple Package big time. I didn't bring much $$, and that's fine because I didn't "need" anything.

I hope that same thing is in the live auction next year. It was worth at least a couple hundred to me.

The lake packages have done pretty well the last two years. I anticipate they will be around next year. They are worth the money and invaluable to the winner. I won the Sanford package last year and I credit the 43" I caught there to the info I gained from what was in that box.

Had a great time as always. I can attest to the lake package sucess. Won the Murray lake package last year and caught fish every time during my 3 trips up there. Took home the Thorn package this year and need to make a correction. There is WAY more than 35 years of knowledge in that little brown package. For someone with an active family and career can't say enough about the lake packages. Shortening the leaning curve + money going to MMA = as Mr. Sheen would say "I'm winning". Won the Murray package last year, Thorn this year and will be back bidding on a box next year! WELL WORTH IT.

It was my first, and it was a blast, ive been looking forward to it since I missed it last year. I got plenty of glide baits (which I needed badly), and some other much needed stuff to fill empty holes in the tackle box I had to buy after the last meeting I was at
Its also great putting some more faces to names here, and meet as many of you all as possible.
Great job to all that helped, and I am already looking forward to next year, and maybe one of those rain suit i just missed out on

It was great getting the chance to finally meet and get to know alot of you guys. I had a great time chatting with all the guys I got the chance to talk to. Its always so easy to hold conversation with other people as crazy about fishing as me. Looking forward to seeing/fishing with you guys in the future. I was also very happy with the baits I was able to walk away with. Some of those custom paint jobs were so sweet. Very impressive work by all of you baitmakers.

I was especially interested in and impressed by the Antrim study presentation. Lots of thanks and credit should go to John and all of those that helped out with that project. Hopefully the results and findings of the study will help lead to some changes to better protect that unique population of fish.

Im already excited for next years banquet. Will definitly have to bring more money next time though.

Those things are too big for any fish in Michigan to eat. They only work in places like Minnesota.

I probably should have spent more money than I did. I came a little short changed. My wife had gotten a hold of my "secret" plowing check that I was planning on blowing there. Had a great time, though. I spent too much time trying to keep track of what Trevor was doing. I really wanted to meet a bunch of people there that I didn't know. I did get to chat it up with around 1/2 of the people though.

was a fun time, got out bid on anything i needed though. I know the money was for a good cause, but i didn't have the extra cash to pay soo much higher than retail either.

But minnick and i did win about 40 dollars in lures on 10 dollars worth of tickets

The roads were icy? I just thought I'd had boo many tears! 😀

A good time was had by all, I think. I came away with an absolute steal on two Talonz slashers Embarassed, and snagged one of the Okuma Akenas at a good price, to boot.

I'm really disappointed in Kid, though. He didn't give me any love in the raffles this year!

Mike got alot of love from Kid, didn't matter to me the money is going to the best cause, more muskies. Maybe I will have a job next year to bid on something. Like Adam said we might have good news next year, the first guy said we should know by June.
