Ok, so you guys want a little taste of what you'll be seeing at this years banquet?
For some equipment, how about a Shimano Calcutta 400B, or a Calcutta D? Yep, we've got 'em!

Maybe you are looking to take a trip up North? How about a day in the boat with Benjamin Wood? Benji is one of the co-founders of the Boundary Waters Musky Club and current VP. Benji has been living in the Northern Territory for quite some time now, and has really familiarized himself with those waters.
Need another reason to start saving your pennies?
How about a Fall Hawg Hunt with Will Schultz? Any SW MI waters for 1 day in the fall. Will will supply all the tackle needed, including live suckers to help maximize the chances of getting that 30+lber. This will also act as a teaching course on the correct ways to use a sucker. What depth to set them, where to place them around the boat, whether or not to use a bobber, and what kinds of rigs to use. He will show you all the ways to make Muskie fishing with suckers a success, as well as how to do it the safest way for both you and the fish. (By fish, I mean Muskie. The Sucker, of course, is toast.) [smilie=biggrin.gif]
Some MMGS Fall 2012 fish

Matt, remember how we talked about how you could have bought a boat with the money you spent at last years banquet?I know you love shore fishing, but damn….
Go ahead, Matt. Spend a "boat load" of money at the banquet, and I'll take you out in my boat anytime I can. [smilie=biggrin.gif]
Or, you can spend all you money on all the guided trips, and just use their boat! Problem solved!
Alright, another teaser? I hadn't gotten the reaction I was hoping for so far… [smilie=attention.gif]
How about a guided trip on LSC for your choice of the biggest fish that grow in the system? You can pick either muskie, or STURGEON!! Castin' St. Clair Guide Service (Chris Mahan) has generously donated a day of fishing for either of the giants.

Remember, guys. This is our only real fundraiser that we hold every year. It is our ONLY source of income. Without this event, we would not be able to operate. That $35 that you pay every year to be a member? That goes straight to Muskies Inc., not specifically to our club. That $35 covers things like insurances, magazines, and calenders. Please, please keep this in mind. If you are thinking about buying anything this season – replacing lures, rods, reels, etc. — buy them here!! Who cares if you can buy the same lure in a store for the same price as what the bid went up to? It's not about saving money here. Even if you have to spend a couple extra bucks over retail to buy a lure at the banquet, you've saved on shipping, and it went to a great cause. There have been times when it looked like the DNR's budget for the Muskie Program was going to be cut. Let's make sure that never happens by having enough resources to help them out if we can.
Also, we WILL be able to take credit cards. With all the new technology out with the smart phones, we will be able to take Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.

Ok, I guess you can't fish muskies without stocking, good regulations, ect… So spend away. But seriously, buy a boat after that ok? I want to drive something with better mileage down to fish in GR.
