Ok, so it's that time of year again!! We are looking for suggestions for which lakes to do the lake packages for this year. Which lakes would YOU bid on? Your answers will weigh heavily on which lakes are chosen, so SPEAK UP!! It can even be lakes that have been done before.
For those of you who might be new to this, a lake map package is an item that we auction off at the annual banquet. It contains a detailed map of the lake with notes by someone who knows the lake. It also has the most productive lures, and notes with fish movements, and best spots for the time of year.

I'd pay money for Murray, Thorn (I know it was done last year), Hamlin (good luck with the map on that one!) and I'd double up on anything in the Antrim chain, though I know its a sensitive issue up there.

Thorn seems like a hot package.

Burt lake or the other indian river lakes. Lake Bellaire. Intermediate Lake. Anyone of these I would bid high for.

St. Mary's also intrigues me but I dont have the means to fish that system yet.

What about Laxe X? Meaning the person that wins the bid will ask for the lake at a later time and the "powers to be" would give it their best shot.

What do we look like – Wisconsin or Minnesota? We don't have any lake X's. [smilie=biggrin.gif]

I remember Murray and Thorn doing well at the banquets, did we have Ovid so far? Seems like a good bet, and centrally located for a lot of us.

My vote as always is for western UP lakes. Cisco chain and Chicagon lake would fetch a lot of money from me. I'd also be interested in Wixom, Diane and either Burt, Mullet or Black.

I wish we had lake X's. Be nice to get out on the water in the summer and be maybe the only boat on the water for a change.

Although that does happen from time to time on murray
