This is a great idea for the online auction and probably a more appropriate place for this than the banquet. We could have members donate a day on their home water with proceeds going to MMA. This would make it easier for someone that is 2 hours away from a lake/river to spend a day learning without taking their boat.
On a side note: Any "guide for a day" trips must have insurance purchased to protect the "guide" but also to protect MMA.
Mike King had a day last year on the online auction that worked out great.
I would be happy to donate a trolling trip on LSC any month of chosing. 2 people max. Canadian Lisense required. I am not too concerned about hurt feelings…. If you want to pay $700 to fish with Steve Jones, be my guest… If you want a more intimate, and hopefully enjoyable trip, you might be able to pick up this one cheap… I may be able to tap in to a little network and if we time it right, we might even catch a fish or two…
There have been a few 48+ fish from LSC in the boat…
