The marked lake map/lure packages with hidden contents seem to do well at auction. Continuing that is still good but since there are only so many waters to do that with, maybe something similar but with a new twist may work well too – like a "MMA's Anonymous All-Stars" package. This could be let's say the 5 top Michigan baits as agreed upon by Will and another few of our most experienced anglers, kept in a suspenseful closed package like the lake versions. It may have to be backed up by something like a retail value of at least a certain designated amount so all know they won't open a package of $10 Storm baits if they win. And if it's the great package I bet it will be, it should be a promising auction item at future banquets as well (the next season's top 5 Michigan baits or something similar).
This year Will has asked me to donate two sets for the Live auction. The first will be a 5 lure collection of claws. Little Claw Twitch, Little Claw Crank, Magnum Little claw twitch, Katz Claw twitch and an 8 inch deep Claw.
The second set is going to be a 5 lure set of Mixed Slashers and Stubbies made up for Lake St. Clair. I am also doing up a pair of our Brand New 11 inch Super Magnum Claws . These will be on the table auctions. Ill post pics as they finish up. Im doing some of them right now. Mike
