It is a lot of fun and there are a lot of things going on to keep you busy. There is a cash bar for beverages, a dinner, two large silent auction tables full of lures and other equipment, a couple presentations (usually DNR), and then a live auction at the end of the night. There is also numerous raffles thoughout the night for lures and rods. The silent auction tables have a lot of great stuff and they run for a couple of hours over the course of the banquet. There will be certain packages with a sign up sheet in front of the package and an individual will place sign up on the sheet and place a bid. At the end of the night when the packages are collected, the highest bidder wins.

It looks a lot like any fundraising banquet NWTF, DU, etc.

This is roughly the schedule… Don't hold me to this though.

5 to 6 – welcome, meet and greet, raffle sales and silent auction open
6 to 8 – dinner, speaker(s), raffle sales and silent auction open
8 – live auction

Yes, non members & guests are welcome. There will be plenty more details and reminders in upcoming Figure 8 issues.

Cool! Classic 'za with epic crust (brought in from a true artisian in downtown Lansing), AND an interesting back nine…where an MMA member could possibly hold the unofficial course record!

Seriously though, good pick!

Careful there… Buffet doesn't mean all you can eat.

That depends on how fast you are! [smilie=biggrin.gif] And, how much you can pile on your plate. I never said it was all EVERYONE can eat. [smilie=brows.gif]

The rod on the ticket that is a give away, is that a 8'6" Akuma telescoping rod like before? Just wanted to tell people who are buying tickets.
