Thanks again to everyone involved in the banquet! It seemed like another great success with a lot of items sold. Thank you to the speaker for coming out and talking with us as well. It was very interesting stuff and was obviously very relatable which seemed to keep everyone interested. Thank you to all the members for being respectful and quiet during his presentation as well!

Looking forward to next year!

I agree with Jason that things went very well. I think our speaker did a great job and he couldn't stress enough that we have to get to these meeting and not just be Will. I had two guys I talked to last night for a long time that weren't members and told them they need to become members to help us. Were there more people there that weren't members? But I do believe it was a great success and I think everybody had a great time. Thanks again everybody!! [smilie=applause.gif]

[smilie=2thumbsup.gif] And hopefully we can get a lot of people going to the Spring meetings to discuss the regulation proposal.

I have to thank the Banquet merchandise committee for doing such a great job putting some amazing merchandise in front of us. Trevor, Adam, Brad, JP, Nick and Jason thank you for finding and getting some great merchandise.

While it's fresh in your mind please let us know where we missed the mark or what you would like to see. We're going to concentrate on more non-lure items for next year.

I can't take much credit for helping much this year Will… other than drinking beer and being agreeable at a couple meetings Embarassed Hopefully I'll expand my contacts next year, and I think the idea of expanding a little from strictly tackle might be a good idea.

I am sure that some of the painters would agree with me, but when I see people honestly wanting to buy something I made, it is a bit humbling. So I think that a bigger thanks goes to the people that know what they want, and are buying it! Making all the great stuff MMA does possible! We have a great group [smilie=cheers2.gif]

A couple of thoughts for items next year…

Maybe some inflatable life vests or something of the sort… And/or also a survival suit. I think most of the guys there were out in December this year and most don't have the proper life saving gear in case of an accident.

I think also local sports related stuff does fairly well. And honestly my wife doesn't get angry when I come home with something maize and blue instead of a pile of lures.

I did miss the lake package this year.

We need to work on an inflatable or two. The Survival suit would be tough due to sizing but perhaps we could get something from a vendor since Mustang doesn't retail. A gift certificate for Landfall would work.

Oddly enough we never even discussed a lake package this year.
