Jason, nice video, did you not get one?
Great video! Jason is Salt of the Earth. Even if you didn’t know him, you can tell from one video because he’s running his boat from the back, and he posted a video where his partners caught all the fish!!!
Sometimes the casting order in the boat matters, sometimes it doesn’t. Mostly it’s random luck of the draw, sometimes it’s not. But bottom line is Jason is a good fisherman and a good man! 👍
Steve, I didn't get to go either [smilie=brickwall.gif] [smilie=brickwall.gif] [smilie=brickwall.gif]
But from the posts I have seen it went well!
Here is a blurb from the MMA facebook, which I am sure will in the newsletter next month with pictures too…
Our last fishing outing of the year was this past Saturday at Austin Lake. Around 15 people attended with most boats having action from fish. A handful of fish were caught with numerous other close calls. Thank you to everyone who attended and we look forward to seeing you all at the Lure Swap!

Nobody do anything!!!!!
Sorry for the delay! The outing was great! We had about 15 people total and most boats had action when we all talked at lunch. Matty BeGood caught 2 shortline trolling a Moski $treetwalker and Chris Pearson caught 1 on a shallow magdawg. Chris lost another fish on the same bait as well I believe. Dan and I saw a handful of fish and were very close to catching 3 of them. Fish were nipping/short striking gliders for us and we didn't get hooks in any that tried to eat. The GLS in there look really cool and some of them are almost blue/iridescent green. There is a good population of 38" and under fish right now so hopefully they continue to do well as it'll be great in 5 years.
