I was out Friday and Saturday. Saturday night was the first good action I have had at Austin in the last few weeks. I had two nice ones on but unfortunately couldn't put either in the boat.

The water temps have ranged from 73-78 or so, and the weeds seem to be in the same spots as always. For me at Austin it seems like were I find weeds, I usually find fish.

Obviously avoid the weekends, or hot sunny days because that place becomes a zoo. I was considering going Sunday afternoon until I drove by and saw about 1000 boats out there. I have run into a handful of bass tournaments on the weekdays, always on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I havent had a problem with any of them but I usually try to get out of there before their weigh-ins.
