C'mon now, Holmes and his buddies are discriminated against since they only get to spear 99.9% of our Esocid waters, at least that's one way he described it recently, since they are still deprived of that .1% that are among the best places (maybe in part because they don't allow spearing?). It doesn't count that those advocating quality management of the resource, and the resources themselves, are what is truly discriminated against in 99.9% of our waters. I'd settle for a 50/50 split for a more equitable arrangement, or adding bass and other more prolific species to help spread out the impact and exhilarating joy of gamefish harpooning.
