This lake reminds me of Webster. A ton of houses on it and you can see in the water very well. Some of the things I don't understand. Tops my locator showed today was 8 feet. Does this lake have a massive fish kill in the winter? Does this lake have a problem with shad like Webster, where they put the Muskie's in? I don't know if I would want to go near this lake during the summer, it must be a circus!! I don't know what the parking lot looked like before, but they did a great job on it.
It is loaded with springs so winterkill isn't an issue. It has had fish disease problems in the past. Like most of our inland waters there are no shad present. Summer boat traffic really isn't that bad. I've been there on many Saturdays and it's never felt like it was too dangerous like I've felt on Campau or Murray. Most of the rec traffic at the ramp is fishing traffic, the people that live on the lake get thier watersports done during the week.

Watersports aren't a problem, the tournament fishing brings out some fine considerate people and some not so considerate people. I think that is the politically correct way to say that.. but hey I look forward to their 845pm weigh ins because the lake basically vacates for the best prime Muskie fishing around 😛 😀
