Seeberger was fishing in 15 feet of water, along a steep drop-off, when the muskie engulfed his 7 1/4-inch sucker minnow

I just called everywhere in this area, no suckers even close to that big. I mean that's a decent sized sucker. I want suckers like that to take to tahquamenon this weekend…

Wow, on a 1/0 hook tied straight to flourocarbon line…talk about lucky.

I wonder how many fish that size (or bigger) are in those waters…

In that lake? One… well… there was one. In Torch there's another and in Elk/Skeg yet one more.

60lbs is a bit freakish, I'll admit there is probably not too many of those, but maybe a few more 40-50lbers in the mix than we know…..just the ability to grow them is the rarity, can't wait to see those little guys dumped from a DNR truck in there. Hopefully sooner than later [smilie=applause.gif]

I keep thinking I've seen these guys before in a muskie-oriented situation. Am I the only one who has that feeling?

Ya the Torch fish looks MUCH bigger because of the 1 guy holding it.
