I had it for a while… For android its 9.99 pounds! so right now about $15.84. don't ask why, I have not idea, and maybe they have fixed it since then 😯 Anyhow it works OK, your phone doesn't have a great receiver in it, so your looking at bout a 50' radius for accuracy. Also the lake maps are not the HD maps, and pretty much all have 5' contours. So basically it gets you relatively close to spots you put waypoints on, and find you larger structures, but beyond that its not that great. I got it when I didn't have money for a graph, and it certainly helped, but haven't used it since I got a better GPS.

You use your phone as a spotlight? 😯
Just kidding.
Thanks for pointing that out…. sadly I have had to use my phone as a spot light [smilie=brickwall.gif] which will forever remind me to not believe my brother when he says " yeah, I charged the battery today"…. the channel from 6 mile to stclair is REALLY long with a push pole (stick) and a phone for lighting!

Some of the smart phones have a flashlight app that is surprisingly bright
Would work in an emergency for sure.

Bummer. That is a long stretch, not fun, at least the current was in your favor.
I have the Navinonics app on my iPhone and I'm glad I have it. I don't work with it too much as far as putting down icons or points of interest. But I do use it all the time sending in UGC to Navionics, and I've used it twice to nav my way back to the ramp in the dark. Once on LSC when my console unit died on me, and once in MN when my Dad's boat electrical system got crappy on me.
For $10 I think they're worth it.
