I would like to extend an invitation to MMA members to attend the next meeting of the Lunker Hunters Fishing Club, of which I'm the president.
The meeting will be Jan 15, 2009 from 7-10 pm. The speaker will be Will Schultz.
The meeting will be held at the Leisure Village Activities room. It will also be a fundraiisng event to benefit MMA. A minimum $5 donation is requested. You will receive a ticket, making you elibible for a $50 cash drawing at the first break time. All proceeds from ticket sales will go to MMA.
Will's topics will be wide ranging, and include a question and answer session. Leisure Village is located at Cannonsburg Rd & Chauncey Ave NE, about two miles east of the Northland Drive bridge. Take Chauncey north from Cannonsburg to the park entrance, and take a left. The activities building will be straight ahead. Please confirm if you're able to attend by replying to this message. Seating is limited. I hope to see you there. Will is an incredible source of muskie knowledge, and is very articulate in his presentations, as many of you already know.
Charlie

If we dont go to the cabin at Vanderbilt I/we will be there. Want to learn more, meet some of the members. Our annual winter trip is iffy with the wx forcast. Doubt the driving down here will be any better if the wind stays up. Ah, those wx guys, they're just learning, practicing. Always wrong. Best line I read last year was a guy fishing out of Ludington. "It was calm to 2 feet alright, on top of the 4 to 6 footers."

Hey, Sally… buy a truck or SUV w/ 4WD! I drove 70+ all the way to the show last Saturday morning in our Durango. We only had to stop once for Brad, Matt and Trevor to change their underwear.
Yeah, I saw 20 idjits in the ditch on the way to/from Novi Saturday who'd passed my fine RWD hemi going 70 (I was going 50). "><url url="[Permission to view this media is denied]<url url="[Permission to view this media is denied]

Sounds like me. A Hummer H2 barrels through the deepest stuff. I'll do 70mph when everyone else is is doing 30-45. [smilie=bud.gif]
The "Sally" part doesn't sound like me. I meant the driving 70. The Sally thing is definately for Tom. 😀

You'll go in the ditch with both but at least you can get out with 4WD.Can I do donuts in the Gander parking lot with your Hemi after the next meeting? Our vehicles are both AWD and I miss being able to spin around like I just won the Daytona 500! [smilie=brows.gif]
For a $500 donation to MMA…
