Has anyone fished the lakes in Algonquin Park? Besides Georgian Bay? I just had a family reunion, and turns out, my cousin lives 1.5 hrs away from there. He also lives 5 min. from Ottawa River. So I guess it sounds like I've got a cheap place to stay! Anyone have any suggestions for what time of year would be best for those types of lakes? He leaves for the army 3rd week in Sept. So I either have to go before that or wait until next year in April or May when the ice leaves or the season opens.
